One of the Founders and Indian Partner of the Italian Company, Bisleri (India) Private Limited, Mr Khushroo N. Suntook has had an illustrious career in the Tata Group of Companies from 1968-2000. After his retirement from the Tata Group in 2000, he was appointed the Vice Chairman of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), and became the Chairman in September 2008. He remains an independent director of several boards of companies including Tata Investment Corp., Trent Ltd and National Peroxide Ltd.

A State-ranked tennis player himself, Suntook has won several prestigious titles and has been actively involved in organising many tennis events in Mumbai, including Davis Cup tournament and ATP tournaments. He held the position of Chairman of Tata Sports Club for several years and until recently was Chairman of the Sports Committee of the Cricket Club of India.

Mr. Suntook is an avid music lover and has made a conscious effort to promote music in the city. Over the years, his passion for classical music has led him to visit numerous international classical music and opera festivals. In 2006, Suntook gave India its very own orchestra — he is the Founder of the Symphony Orchestra of India.

He is known in the record collecting world and speaks to international audiences on old and rare vocal recordings and has a fine collection of vintage records. His brief tenure as Chairman of NCPA has witnessed changes which have vitalised this ­venerable institution.
